Community Center and Parks

The Community Center building is located at 30355 N. 3rd St. in Athol. It was once part of the old school complex, but now houses City Hall, the City Council meeting room, ABC Food Bank, and rooms available to rent for all types of community events.

The city park is comprised of 2 blocks which include picnic pavilions, a playground, a stage, a skate park, a baseball field, and a basketball court. Many events are hosted in the city park throughout the year, including the annual Athol Daze event, which attracts thousands of attendees.

If you are interested in renting a room in the community building or a pavilion in the city park, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact City Hall at cityhall@cityofathol.us or call 208-683-2101 to check availability of the facilities for your desired dates and times, as rental dates are first-come, first-serve;
  2. Click on the Community Building and Park Rental Agreement below and complete it;
  3. Email the completed rental agreement to cityhall@cityofathol.us
  4. A payment link can be emailed to you, or you can call City Hall to pay the rental fee (if applicable) by card or drop by City Hall to pay.

Per Athol City Code §6-5-7, all domestic animals including dogs, are strictly prohibited from city parks.
